The Dark Star of Infinity
The whispered hints of knowledge;
The moonless streams of thoughts
Wandering the hidden valley of life
In the shadowed mysteries of existence
Seem like indistinct murmurs -
And forgotten longings of the soul
Echoing from the deep well of time.
My restless spirit wanders
The corridors of the Dark Star;
Delving into its center, allowing
The indifference of words
To slip through my fingers.
The delicate puzzles of fading dirges
And sad laments in doleful song,
Swell from the spheres of Heaven -
Spin in the merry-go-round of space.
The vanished Garden of Eden awaits
The exact moment in time
To reappear upon the Earth.
The Dark Star of infinity
Shall be bright again.
